For your convenience please take into account the venue of the Congress and the information given below.


How to reach the venue

The School of Civil Engineering (Escuela de Ingenieros de Caminos) is located in the “Ciudad Universitaria” campus. This is an area devoted exclusively to educational and research buildings where there are no shops, hotels or restaurants. The best way to get to Ciudad Universitaria is by Metro.

  • From airport: take Metro, Line 8 to “Nuevos Ministerios” (4 stops), change to Line 6 Circular to “Ciudad Universitaria” (4 stops). Supplement of 3 €, about 30 min
  • From downtown Madrid: Walk to nearest Metro stop and connect to Line 6 to “Ciudad Universitaria”.

    • Fare is 1.50€ per trip. There are packages of 10 trips, valid for Metro and/or Buses, for 12.20€. There are also day tickets, valid for travel 1, 2, 3, 5 or 7 days, with prices ranging from 8.40€ for 1 day to 35.40€ for 7 days.

    You may also reach the School of Civil Engineering taking special university bus lines:
    G (from Moncloa) or F (from Cuatro Caminos).
